Xing Han Laser Participates in Drafting Group Gtandard for MOPA Pulsed Fiber Lasers

MOPA pulsed fiber laser is based on a single-mode pulsed seed source and multi-stage pulse amplification fiber laser, with high peak power and pulse width flexible and adjustable, good beam quality and other advantages, can be used for laser cleaning, laser punching, precision cutting and other industrial manufacturing fields and space exploration. At present, MOPA pulsed fibre laser products are relatively mature, and there is an urgent need to develop relevant standards to further regulate the development of the industry.

Recently, the China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufacturers   Association organized a technical review meeting of the group standard "MOPA Pulsed Fiber Laser" in the form of a combined online and offline meeting. Yao Dahu, Secretary-General of the China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufacturers Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech; Zhang Hansong, Director of the Department of Research and Technology, presided over the meeting; Qi Yan, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Optical Radiation Safety and Laser Equipment, was the head of the review group and presided over the review phase.

The group standard "MOPA Pulsed Fiber Laser" was reported by Zhu Jiangjie, Vice President of Technology of Shenzhen Jepte Optoelectronics Co. The units involved in the drafting of this project include Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, South China Normal University, Shenzhen Academy of Metrology of Quality Inspection, Shenzhen Xing Han Laser Technology Co., Ltd and so on.

At the meeting, the review group listened to the project team's report on the Preparation Note and the standard text. Through questioning, discussion and voting, the review group experts unanimously agreed to pass the review of the group standard "MOPA Pulsed Fiber Laser", and suggested that the standard writing team should collate and summarise the comments made in the review, and form the final standard for approval after modifications as required.
